THE LIST

I completed my list and decided that I wouldn't wait until June 1 to start, so here you go:  101 Things that I will attempt to accomplish in 1001 days.  (These are grouped by general headings, but are in no particular order.)

Travel:
1. Visit Rebecca & Earl in England
2. Visit LCC
3. Visit (at least) one new country
4. Visit 2 new states (WA, OR, ID, MT, ND, LA, HA, or AK)
5. Go to an amusement park each year
6. Take Daisy on a short trip
7. Take Betsy on a short trip
8. Overnight with the College Gals (Rissers, Dunlaps, and Krisi and me)
9. Visit Chicago 2 times per year
10. Stay in a luxurious hotel
11. Visit the McCollisters
12. Visit the Staves
13. Visit the Millikens
14. Visit Dawn & her family
15. Take a "flip the coin" trip
16. Throw a dart at the state map and visit that town.
17. Go camping in an RV.
18. Stay at a Bed and Breakfast

Art/Culture/Entertainment
19. Read 30 new books
20. Watch 30 "classic" movies
21. Buy a membership to a museum and use it 2 times per year
22. Go see "Wicked"
23. Re-watch all 7 seasons of "The Gilmore Girls"
24. Go geo-caching
25. Go zip lining
26. Visit a presidential library
27. Go to an author's reading of his/her work.
28. Go to a movie in the theater alone.
29. Go to a professional sporting event
30. Watch 26 new movies - starting with each letter of the alphabet

Spending/Saving
31. Buy a new laptop
32. Buy a great pair of boots
33. Buy a Wii
34. Buy a bicycle
35. Buy or create a way to orgainze my jelwey
36. Buy or create a way to display my scarf collection
37. Buy a good quality set of colored pencils
38. Buy a car and pay it off in full before the 1001 days are over
39. Build up a savings of at least 3 months salary

Misc.
40. Finish Christmas shopping before December one year
41. Sit and watch/experience a sunrise
42. Organize a family portrait
43. Kiss someone at midnight on New Year's
44. Inspire someone else to do a 101 list
45. Start work on my master's degree
46. Take a nap in the sun

"Social Projects"
47. Take a photo of myself once each month during the 1001 days
48. Send a secret to PostSecret
49. Sign up for Postcrossing and send at least 20 postcards
50. Do a 30 day Happiness photo challenge
51. Do a 30 day Art challenge

Relationships
52. Send 101 handwritten notes (NOT thank you cards for LCC gifts)
53. Send a card to everyone in my family on their birthday
54. Create a box/jar of conversation starters
55. Send a care package to my LCC friends
56. Send cards to my FYS students when they graduate from LCC

Create
58. Create a window garden in my apartment
59. Make a travel book of my Istanbul and Czech/Austria trips
60. Have one of my photos made into a puzzle
61. Do three crafts that I find online
62. Create a scavenger hunt for someone
63. Turn a quote I like into a piece of art
64. Create a reading spot in my apartment
65. Frame and hang art from my European travels
66. Put together a functional/cute sewing box

97. Take a cake decorating class
98. Make a collection of my 50 favorite recipes
99. Find "my restaurant" in my new town
100. Make Patty's applesauce recipe
101. Subscribe to a cooking magazine

So, there you have it...101 things I want to do between now and February 16, 2016.  It seems like a long time away, but I have a hunch that it will come faster than I can imagine!  

I will try to update this blog once a month or so to let you know how I'm coming along!
